Project Manager / Oil & Energy Business Development

An articulate, intelligent and highly motivated candidate who has over 12 years freight forwarding experience with the past 6 years being spent in the project forwarding sector.  His career so far has seen him live and work in the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Angola, Egypt, Norway and Libya, and he is fluent in 6 languages – Dutch, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese & French – and has a basic knowledge of Mandarin.  Educated to MBA level.

Focused on the Oil & Energy sectors, he has arranged and coordinated wind farm movements as well as major oil field projects; building strong relationships with key decision makers and increasing customer loyalty and company profits.  His progression into Business Development was a natural one, utilizing his vast operational knowledge of project forwarding; natural people skills and tenacity to see him successfully win new business throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

He is now seeking a fresh challenge in role that will again utilize his combined abilities in operations, sales and key account management and is willing to work in any global location and is able to relocate at short notice.
