Sales & Marketing Executive - Shipping - France
Opportunity to join a leading European Feeder and Short Sea Shipping company and develop the business in Northern France (ideally Lille).
The successful applicant will come from either a short sea sales background, or may have worked for a forwarder dealing with the European market. Deep sea shipping experience will also be considered.
- To manage, develop and improve sales activities in the region
- To price and quote short sea rates for container transports
- Responsible for the close coordination with the local Customer Service unit and HQ short sea Sales
- To contribute to further development of highly successful Sales capabilities within the Region
- Pro-actively support and challenge local Management
- Lead and assist Inside sales
- Develop and manage Sales / Marketing efforts within the Region
- Monitor market trends and competition
- Follow-up and measure the results
- Support innovation
