Job Vacancy: Branch Manager - European Road Freight - Bradford
Opportunity to join this well established market leader, specialising in road freight to Scandinavia.
- Management of day to day Branch Road Freight Operations.
- To constantly monitor & benchmark costs at both branch overhead and operational levels
- Identify the Top Ten Branch customers in terms of annual spend, identify decision-maker of each and establish a close working relationship at all levels.
- Lead & motivate the Branch Sales personnel & associated activities at all levels
- Visit existing client base to ensure Company is awarded all possible business
- Actively seek new areas of business to enhance Branch client base
- Oversee or delegate responsibility for day to day branch administration
- To manage and report on the Branch Profit and Loss
- Ensure strong working relationships are built and maintained with the Companies overseas partners / agents.
Previous experience managing European Road Freight Branch is essential!
