A leading global logistics company is looking for an experienced, commercially minded, Airfreight Sales Manager, who must be able to demonstrate that they have previously added significant value to an airfreight operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation, development and facilitation of new business and to assist and provide fast, competitive, solutions for our Sales Team. They will ideally bring across business to assist corporate growth and identify work areas that require commercial exploitation. They will negotiate with air carriers for the best possible rates and find ways to continually improve the overall cost of airfreight shipping and service levels. They will quote customers and follow up on all quotes to secure new business and build relationships. They will liaise with overseas agents quoting charges and obtaining charges for quotations.
Based in the Cambridgeshire, the successful applicant will have excellent knowledge of, and background in, all aspects of Air Freight Operations. They will have a passion to grow the company, and drive to progress with their own career.
