Job Vacancy: Shortsea Shipping Sales Executive - Shipping - UK

Great opportunity to join this leading short sea container shipping company, offering door-to-door shipping services across Europe via its intermodal network.

The position will involve selling services to both Freight Forwarders and Direct Customers.

The successful candidate will have a proven commercial background either within shortsea shipping or the European road freight market. It is also a requirement to have a good network of contacts with major forwarding companies.

- Lead the Shortsea development and sales with UK Top customers
- Responsible for establishing the right contacts enabling company to be nominated for tenders
- Focus on big international customers, develop the accounts, also to ensure more business is secured from existing customers
- Follow up and reporting on development, trend and achievement through short form reports and

The position will be office based 1 or days a week in Felixstowe, with extensive travel to meet clients in The Midlands, North East and North West.
