Overview of duties:-
- Ensure Transatlantic tariffs are up to date and distributed internally to sales and management team
- Compare and analyse rates with other shipping lines, ensuring that pricing is competitive but profitable
- Prepare and present regular reports on market trends and trade lane profitability to the management team
Specific job qualities and skills:-
- Previous experience gained working with a shipping line
- Previous pricing experience preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of the Transatlantic trade lane
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of IT packages including Excel
