An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a leading shipping line in a position responsible setting and developing HR policy and strategy across Europe.
Based from London, the successful applicant will need a strong track record in HR Management combined with a strong knowledge of the shipping sector, with experience ideally gained working in a similar position for a shipping line or port authority.
Financial Responsibilities Include:
- Payroll cost for region
- Training budget
- Staff benefits
Non-financial responsibility includes:
- Make recommendations for regional HR matters including policies, salary increments and employee benefits re-design
- Recruit, organise and manage the department within agreed budget
- Work closely with VP for key appointments
- Directly involved in recruitment of all managerial appointments
