An excellent career opportunity has arisen with an international multi-modal freight forwarding company, based in South Essex.
The company has been established for over 30 years, with a strong presence in the USA, Far East and many European countries.
Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, the company is looking for a successful Sales Executive to join the Deep Sea division.
The candidate will have a proven track record of selling deep sea services from/to the Far East and Indian sub-continent markets, to a variety of different industry sectors.
The company would prefer a Sales Executive that can guarantee business to bring/and a portfolio of customer contacts to with them to the company.
Duties:-
- Developing strong relationships with the companies existing major key accounts and driving further sales growth.
- Identifying new customers to sell the companies multi-modal freight services, with a particular emphasis on the Far East and Indian Sub-continent trade lane markets.
- Travel across the UK, to visit existing key customer and new customers
Specific job qualities and skills:-
- Proven track record of winning new Deep Sea freight forwarding business, across all international trade lanes
- Knowledge of selling Air freight business would be beneficial
- Previous knowledge of maximising profits and reducing costs through strong rate negotiation techniques
- Professional attitude when representing the company
The successful candidate will be offered a very attractive salary package including a company car, also including a performance related bonus.
